Sustainable Morning Routine

Make your mornings fun, relaxing, and eco-friendly :)

Why are mornings important?


As everyone knows, mornings set the tone for the day. The way your morning goes can greatly impact the rest of your day. Mornings can affect your mood, productivity, and eating habits. So it is crucial that your mornings are all about nourishing your body and mind.


Even though I am not exactly where I want to be with my morning routine, I still have been making an effort to have a healthy and sustainable morning routine. And I want to share this with you!

First Step:

I wish I could say the first thing I did in the morning was meditate or do yoga, but sadly it is not. To be completely honest, the first thing I do is use the bathroom.


I have already made it a habit to not go on my phone first thing in the morning. Instead, I play some music. This motivates me, and I really need a push in the morning because of how I tired I still am. I first brush my teeth with my Philips Electronic toothbrush. I then proceed to wash my face with my MEOW MEOW TWEET face wash. Washing my face really rejuvenates me. I usually don't shower in the morning; I'm more of a night showers type of person.

Second Step:

After this, I plan my day so that I can stay organized. There are a lot of things I have to complete in one day, so I really value taking time out of my morning to organize the rest of my day. I also check my emails during this part of my morning.

Third Step:

It's time to get dressed! This part is pretty self-explanatory, but I thought I would mention some of my favorite clothing brands at the moment. They are all amazing eco-friendly brands that also sell low-cost products as well.

Fourth Step:

I usually apply basic makeup before I head out for the day, and sometimes I don't. However, when I do, the brands listed below are the ones I use. I have talked about these brands before in my earlier post: Eco-Friendly Clothes and Beauty Products. All of these brands work hard to be sustainable and environmentally conscious. Fifth Step:

Food, the best part of the morning in my opinion! I am usually not that hungry in the morning, but I still encourage myself to eat something. For the past couple of months, I have been eating vegan chia seed pudding with fruits and granola along with an oat milk iced matcha tea latte. This breakfast is filled with nutrients and is still light. It is the perfect combination!
